What is The Supreme Court?

The Supreme Court is the supreme judicial authority of the Student Government, and it has a range of duties. It authors opinions, settles disputes over the meaning of the governing documents, and advises members of Student Government on proper Constitutional procedure. The Court also swears in Student Government officials, certifies signatures on petitions, and serves as the final court of appeal during first-year and spring elections.
