About FSA

The Food Security Agency (FSA) is spearheading a collaborative movement, powered led by undergraduate and graduate students within Student Government, to ensure a just, thriving, zero-waste food system at the University of Texas at Austin. We believe that every member of the UT Austin community matters deeply, that food is essential to learning, and that a healthy food system is the foundation for community well-being. The Food Security Agency is committed to realizing Tomorrow’s Texas by engaging the UT Austin food system at every level, from production to purchasing to logistics to consumption to resource recovery.
