Meeting Minutes
Meeting Minutes
Student Government (SG) meeting minutes provide an official record of the discussions, decisions and votes that take place during SG sessions. They are published regularly to keep the student body informed about ongoing initiatives, legislation and campus issues. By making this information accessible, minutes ensure transparency, hold representatives accountable and give all students the opportunity to stay engaged with the work of Student Government, even if they can’t attend meetings in person.
Who can access Student Government meeting minutes?
All meeting minutes are publicly available online so that any UT Austin student, faculty, or staff member can review them. This open access ensures that the decision-making process remains transparent.
How often are new minutes posted?
Meeting minutes are posted shortly after each official session of the Student Government Assembly, which occurs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. during the academic year. This allows students to stay up-to-date with current issues and initiatives.
